She was there when I arrived and was very hospital. Even before my arrival she gave me all the instruction that were very clear and helpful. She has a lot of tips and suggestions in case you need. Her place is well located you can easily go around to most places. For sure I would stay there again in case I go back to Baltimore!

I came back for a second trip to Baltimore for really no reason other than the fact that I loved staying at Jeannette’s place and needed to come back and spend more time!

Great value, clean, quiet, and has all the essentials.

Jeannette and I were instant buddies.

She is by far the most gracious host I’ve encountered. After arriving late, she walked me to find dinner and even listened to me gripe about my day, lol. She went over and beyond and I am grateful. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Shire!!

The Shire is literally the best value on (Baltimore’s) AirBnB.

It’s roomy, private and has that cool quirk than makes Baltimore the jewel of a city it is. Jeannette is a stupendous host. If I were to only say she goes above and beyond for her guest I’d be understating her hospitality. I believe her warmth is the reason all of her stay booked for months. The value is just an added bonus.

I felt very welcomed at all times in this place.

My wife and I were visiting Baltimore for the first time, so it was really wonderful to have a host like Jeannette who could fill us in on all things Baltimore.

Jeannette was a great host, very charming and social.

She provided everything a person would want for their stay in a new city. The room was good for me, I stayed in the Shrine (the basement room) as I requested for it since I never lived in a basement so wanted to experience that. It was well maintained, has a kinda hipster vibe to it, only the height of the roof was a factor for me, it was barely my height 5’9” so I had to walk around carefully always in the mind that I might not hit the roof or some other pipe. Anyways, stay was good. Thanks again Jeannette.

Amazing room, location, and hostess!

The Shire is comfortable and clean – a great budget room – and Jeannette’s place is in a lovely part of Baltimore, in walking distance to the harbor and range of lovely cafes and restaurants.

I had a really good stay, and felt very at home here. Jeannette was warm, friendly and helpful – and her two cats and one dog were also welcoming and friendly!

It’s quiet and spacious (perfect for playing tag with Jeannette’s wonderful sheltie, Copper), everything I could need was provided. Jeannette’s rules were laid out clear and comprehensive ahead of time so I knew exactly what to expect (i.e. tight parking along the street). She was quick to respond and incredibly welcoming, not just when I checked in, but every day I arrived back from work. I would happily book again!

She was warm and welcoming (I actually only saw her once- so I had privacy as well). She lent me her Charm Card and walked me to the bus stop with her sweet Sheltie “Copper”. There are 2 lovely kitties that welcome you at the door as well. Easy check-in and check-out. The Oasis room was clean and spacious for me. The bathroom does not have a full stand-up shower, but rather a large bath tub with a detachable shower head. Perfect for a relaxing bath, but not for those who prefer showers. Her website has impeccable detail and information, and she was also available for any questions or recommendations if needed. Was thrilled to learn that she walks Copper to a close lake and cleans up several days, and installed and refills dog clean-up posts. Pretty cool person and Baltimore native. Would recommend staying if in the area.

When I first arrived Jeannette was extremely helpful in ensuring I get around the city fine. The room was beyond expectations given the price. It does have a tv with local channels but I wasn’t expecting that inside the room. The bed is comfortable and the rooftop deck is beyond amazing. I would definitely recommend this place or stay here again. I had complete privacy. Thank you again Jeannette your hospitality was nothing short of amazing

Jeannette even took us on a couple of blocks for a tour around her home to explain some history to us.

Jeannette was very welcoming. She met us at the door and then walked a block away to our car to help us with our luggage. She was very kind and charming. She cut up some fresh fruit to share with us and explained the city sights to us. We greatly appreciated her hospitality. The location was perfect for what we wanted. We like to walk and the home was a convenient several block walk to the touristy area but within a great neighborhood that we enjoyed the pleasant walk every day. The room was wonderful. It was large and the in-suite bathroom was clean. We loved the accommodation.

Honestly I can’t say enough about how thankful I am for Jeannette opening up her home to me.

Jeannette is an enlightened and friendly person.

Her house is close to downtown and easily accessible from the airport using light rail. It is also 10 to 15 minutes walking distance from Johns Hopkins medicine. The room is clean, comfortable and capacious with a private restroom. I really enjoyed my stay there. I highly recommend her as a host and hope to visit her again.

My stay was wonderful, the location is great for those working at Hopkins.

It is close and walking in wasn’t an issue, but it is removed enough from the campus to keep it calm and relaxing. You can also easily walk to all that Fells point has to offer. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the was host fun, inviting, and altogether great. I will stay here again when I am back in Baltimore.

Jeannette was wonderful and welcoming when I arrived.

After showing me to my accommodations, she actually put on the football game (my team happened to be playing on national TV for only the second time all year) and watched with me until I had to head to a dinner meeting. The place was comfortable, as advertised and very conveniently located. I would happily stay there again.

I used the Lukis Lounge for a quick stay because I was getting in late at night and needed to be out early in the morning.

Settled a few blocks away from fells point, this comfy house also sits on a straight shot from the inner harbor.

Our host, Jeannette welcomed us with a smile (and her pup Copper!) and a quick rundown of our or living arrangement. Our room was far more spacious then we realized; fitted with a queen sized bed, a lounge chair, as well as a writing desk and two chairs. The bathroom also was a part of suite. There are plenty of family owned business/restaurants within a 5 min walking distance. And the inner harbor is about a $5 lyft/Uber .

I can recommend her without hesitation! She has great local insight where to go and even more importantly in Baltimore, where not to go! She helped wherever she could with day to day issues, the bed was very comfortable, the house is clean and quiet and the view on the rooftop deck incredible. She has two adorable cats and the cutest dog, all of them happy to meet new people, and they don’t go into your room unless asked by you to do so, but if you don’t like animals this might not be the right fit for you. For me however, the prospect of furry companionship was part of the reason I chose to stay with Jeannette, and I did not for one second regret my decision!!

Jeannette is deaf friendly as she communicated through text and/or spoke on Siri on the iPhone’s note app.

Conveniently located close to Downtown, the Neighborhood is charming and Jeannette’s place is comfortable, it has a great view from the balcony and she made me feel like I was at home.

She knows the city very well and can quickly point you in the right direction especially if you’re new to the city. I will certainly be staying at her place in the future and if it’s your first time in Baltimore this is the place unless you mind pets however, her mid-size dog is friendly and I barely heard the little guy.

The location was as advertised, clean, great amenities, great location that is walkable to nearby restaurants and harbor. If you drive, parking is street and can be tough at night. There were cute and kind pets, however the dog can have episodes of barking, if you’re sensitive to that (not at night, sleep was comfortable and quiet!).
